Pengertian dan Fungsi Sosial Lagu

A song is a short piece of music, usually combined with words, melody, and vocals. A song consists of words called lyrics, verses, which tell the story, and a refrain, a short phrase repeated at the end of every verse.

The social functions of song are:

to entertain the listeners
to teach moral value through the lyrics of the song
to express personal feeling/emotion
to motivate/inspire others
to appreciate work of art

Struktur Lagu

Structure:

1. Song title

2. Verses: a series of lyrics that tell the main story of the song and keep the action or thoughts moving forward. It is a repeated section of a song that typically features a new set of lyrics on each repetition. There can be more than 1 or 2 verses in one song.

3. Chorus: A chorus is a series of lyrics that are repeated after each verse of a song. It meant to be the most memorable part, containing the ultimate message of the piece.

4. Bridge: a passage of music that contrasts the verse and the chorus, and is generally used to take the listener from one section to the next.

2. Verses: serangkaian lirik yang menceritakan kisah utama lagu dan membuat tindakan atau pemikiran terus maju. Ini adalah bagian berulang dari sebuah lagu yang biasanya menampilkan serangkaian lirik baru pada setiap pengulangan. Bisa ada lebih dari 1 atau 2 bait dalam satu lagu.

3. Chorus: Chorus adalah serangkain lirik yang diulang setiap setelah verse lagu. Bagian ini dimaksudkan untuk menjadi bagian yang paling berkesan, berisi pesan utama dari karya tersebut.

4. Bridge: bagian musik yang kontras dengan bait dan chorus, dan umumnya digunakan untuk membawa pendengar dari satu bagian ke bagian berikutnya.

● Bahasa kiasan: penggunaan kata, frasa, atau kalimat untuk memperindah atau terkadang menyembunyikan makna.
● Rima: pengulangan bunyi yang serupa
● Denotasi: arti sebenarnya
● Konotasi: makna yang tersembunyi
